Found this unit on ebay, boise unit, all ready programmed, and can be dvd, nav enabled for in motion for a full plug n play according to the description and for a complete system not needing a dealer trip, sounds like a good price. Here's the link to it, and it says these guys are in Orlando, FL. OEM Auto Parts Co.
If anyone knows about these guys I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,

Good price if legit. But if your truck didn't come with a nav screen might as well put in a aftermarket H/U, more and better features then stock IMO

Price is actually very good and the seller appears to have perfect feedback. I'd consider it if I were you. :Handshake:

I considered that, but I have a boise unit. Doesn't the onStar, turn signal chimes and a few other things route through that. To change out the headunit with a non-Boise would require changing all the the speakers too. Is that right or is there something to modify for that?

I like the look of the factory unit, and being able to retain the boise stuff. I don't have a back up camera on mine yet and would want to add that later. Is is ok to have that "turned on" before or will that mess something up since it's not installed yet?

Also, does GM update the Nav disk from time to time, if anyone knows.

Thanks,

Nope all you need is this http://pac-audio.com/productDetails.aspx?ProductId=384&CategoryID=26 or are you meaning a nonbose stock unit?

Shouldn't mess anything up not having a camera installed. Yes they are updated once a year I believe.

You could do so much better then that with $850. Look or brand name ones on crutchfield with features you want and go back to Google or eBay looking for the best price for it.
