I guess its my time to chime in. STAY AWAY FROM THE ROSEN HEAD UNIT. I have done several mods to my truck and going with the rosen was the worst one ever. To answer your question my did come with rca output and remote wire to add on amps but i did neither. It was plug and play and all the steering wheels control still work but the issues with this radio sucks. Here are a few.

1-Navigation does not work in Canada learned that the hard way.
2-XM radio stops playing when put in reverse.
3-ipod control are cool but takes too long to find one song or artist always have to start from the top of any playlist. Ipod wire claims to charge ipod but does not.
4-CD/dvd player button has to press real hard to eject or play.

Only good thing is I have the factory bose set up in my truck and the sound is louder and heaver bass then factory head unit.

Link please. So you have to use an aftermarket tuner but can use factory antenna??

No you don't have to depending on the interface you use. Most have the ability to use the OEM XM tuner. In my Saturn Outlook when I was running the factory tuner the XM display would show up in the DIC. So when you would change stations the odometer would go away and the XM info would show up. Only thing I didn't like was the only way to access XM was to use the steering wheel controls.

Those parts are these....

Idatalink has come out with a new interface that is an all in one unit. It does everything the PAC stuff does but it's just one interface. Cool thing is if you use it with select Kenwood pieces, you can bring and view vehicle information too.

Back to the XM tuner, if you take off the plastic factory plug on the antenna where it plugs into the vehicle's antenna, that center part will snap directly into an aftermarket tuner if you choose to use it.

You will have excuse my extra questions but I do not really have time to research at the moment and you seem knowledgeable. I have a 13 Silverado, bose, no nav system, and also already have an Pac os4, are you saying I can ruin the factory xm off that?

if you are still talking about the Advent.. than you will not need the pac to run xm or onstar it comes with separate gps antenna you put up in the forward dash and a parrot mic behind the rearview (easy install)

No he was mentioning using pac with a different aftermarket unit and being able to use factory xm components, I could be wrong though.

Correct. Rosen and Advent are the only "plug and play" units out there that I know of. I was talking about any other aftermarket unit. I used the PAC4 in my Saturn Outlook and then swapped it over to my Denali. Works fine. The buzzing those may be referring to I believe has to do with either outdated firmware or they are using BOTH the speaker outs along with the RCA with the PAC4. The instructions clearly state NOT to use both speaker and RCA outs.

So I have been looking into other options and think I have made a decision, only thing I didn't find was the adapter from the aftermarket XM to the factory XM antenna.

What I have decided on, I think:
Kenwood DDX770 http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/Mobile_Video_n_Navigation/Mobile_Video/DDX770
Kenwood KCA-ip202 http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/Accessories/KCA-iP202
PAC SWI-JACK http://www.pac-audio.com/productDetails.aspx?ProductId=207&CategoryID=29
SirusXM SXV200V1 http://shop.siriusxm.com/xm/ctl10600/cp56879/si6081290/cl1/sxv200_siriusxm_connect_vehicle_tuner

I already have an OS4 at home.

You don't need one. Just pop the cover off the factory antenna lead and plug it into the aftermarket tuner. It's the same size internally.

Also, if you use the new Maestro versus the PAC piece you will be able to view vehicle info such as tire pressures, more engine sensors like MAF temps, and more.

I am curious if anyone with the ogm1 unit has paired multiple phones via Bluetooth and if it has a priority setup for if both vehicles are in the vehicle?
