So a couple of nights ago I pulled out one of my buddies in his Toyota, it took a few tugs and in the process of tugging him out I bent my reese hitch drop down bar, tore the frame slightly in the very back and bent the entire bumper structure. The first picture shows the whole bent bumper, also made a part of the clear coat peel on the trunk. http://s748.photobucket.com/user/philipdassel/media/photo1_zps56c4ce5b.jpg.html The second and third picture you can see the frame tore http://s748.photobucket.com/user/philipdassel/media/photo2_zpse3d56d95.jpg.html http://s748.photobucket.com/user/philipdassel/media/photo3_zps28bf3a98.jpg.html and the last picture is the passenger side rear frame http://s748.photobucket.com/user/philipdassel/media/photo4_zpsf1c61757.jpg.html Just really need an opinion on what to do and how much am I looking at spending, I want to get it fixed permanently as well. Thank you.

Dam!! That's quite the structural frame damage. Sorry to hear n see that. Definitely get it looked at by the professionals tho, being at the body mount. Every frame damage I've had cost a pretty penny. Time, labor, frame rack, big time welding needed! Good luck bro, n hope u can get it fixed decently cheap.

Wow, that's heavy duty damage. Did you take up the slack before pulling? How many pounds is your tow strap rated for?

Yeah man

Yeah I took the slack up and it was a heavy duty chain not sure what is was rated for. I took it to a body shop yesterday and they said right near a grand with reshaping frame, welding it back, and repainting the tailgate.

Ouch never happened with me. Yours is a northern hoe I assume? That looks nasty.. you can chop off a junkyard hoe and weld it in and that's cheap and easy and strong

How much do you think parts would cost me? The small section of frame, the Reese hitch, and bumper?

And nah it's a southern hoe, South Carolina

Carolinas still have rot. My 2dr came from north carolina but I was lucky and have had only 2 rotted bolts:). Price for that stuff differs. Here probably under $300. Source a hitch for $50 on clist. Bumper for $100 or less and frame probably $60 idk also some reinforcment plates would be an added level of security

Actually just noticed you have a nbs so little more for bumper but still shouldn't be expensive just bargain hunt on craigslist and look at junkyards. Partouts sometimes have good prices. Post ads of what you want aswell
