fuel pressure reg/pump problem

My 01 after it sits for awhile has trouble starting and then builds slowly. I have heard we have problems in this area with these trucks. Could someone help me out on what to look for and where to replace

yeah mine was a recall item for my 2003 yukon. i had it replaced. works fine now. gauge is correct and everything. no false starts. i just dropped the gas tank, took old one out, put new one in. took me like 2 hours tops

check the vacuum connector on top mine was cracked. my slow staart has stopped since changed it. but id still like to change my fuel pump since my level sensor is acting up
