Fuel pump question

I change the fuel filter too

42 seems a bit low for a new pump/filter. Maybe your fuel pressure gauge is off calibration? Try another gauge? Maybe you have a leaking fuel pressure regulator? After you shut the engine off, pull off the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose. There should be no fuel coming out of the vacuum hose port of the regulator. If there is, the regulator is leaking through the diaphragm. Also, pulling the regulator vacuum hose off while running (and blocking off the vacuum line with your thumb) will give you full unregulated pressure.

Today it won't start. ... OMG this is the 2nd fuel pump.

Could my driveway be the culprit? It's about a 45 degree and I park backwards and only have less than 1/4 tank.

Did your fuel pressure come up to 55-62 as well? I'm getting ready to do my pump that crapped out. I'm debating between Delco and Delphi. I've repace my pump twice with Delco over 270k miles; Delco has been averaging about 100k each--the original went out at about 70k miles.

Delphi I would try this brand this time. My neighbor that help me does Automotive at a school and he recommended that brand.
