I agree, it only looks like its been sitting in rusty fuel and sludge for about 5 years, hah.


What pump did you end up ordering?

I would rather have got a Delphi, but I have budget restaurants and time restraints, I got $50 off the Airtex at Advance and picked It up same day.
The cops are up my butt,Issued me a citation and gave me a time period to get the vehicle operational, and licensed.
I have done a bit of searching and some say Airtex no good some say they are fine, we shall see. It did come wire harness and big o ring, I bought a new, lock ring separate, and a Purolator Fuel Filter.

Hey, you gatto do what you gatta do. The Airtex will get you going again. Mine lasted roughly one year. Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones who gets a decent amount of time out of it.

hello, not trying to hijack, but, i had a 99 that i cut an access hole in rear floorboard and replaced my fuel pump without dropping the tank. is that possible to do in my 2002? thanks

Wrong section, and don't ruin your Tahoe by cutting holes into it. Do it the right way.
