Just got off the phone with them (http://www.driveshaftspecialist.com/). They need a measurement of the driveshaft with load on the truck for proper fitment but they recommend the 2 piece driveshaft over the 1 piece for longevity and higher HP applications.

if involved in an accident, your insurance company most likely has the right (signed over by you) to access the EDR data, so while it's yours, and the PD can't get it without a warrant in most cases, it's not going to save you from your insurance company.

Wrong. The police call a flatbed truck your truck gets hauled away to a impound yard and you go to jail. You don't decide anything the police make all the decisions not you. Gee how do I know this because it happened to me.
unless you're tiger woods driving 90MPH and confuse the gas peddle for the brake..

could always blame GM and

it surged officer the RPM went to 6,000 by it self, engine run away..
I watched the gas peddle ref data and the gas peddle does in fact change percentages on it's own... when it does these engine "surges" and the carpets are unsecured (no carpet latch ) so they can save a few pennies

technically speaking the carpet can get stuck on the gas peddle...

most of the (unintended engine acceleration) happens when the Aux pump loses pressure..

this can be a real problem you can accelerate way faster then the normal Tahoe 50MPH in 5 seconds flat in M4 (assuming the HV battery has enough SOC)

and one better hope the 12v+ battery does not randomly fail

as the engine will stall and 100% braking power is applied..from the backup capacitor bank . most likely you will end up flipping the SUV... I almost flipped over when this happened unexpectedly and really close to crashing into two other cars. they moved out of my way.

see here ( this was unintended acceleration event) as you can see i went from 0 to 23mph in 3 seconds (No way I would do this on purpose ) TC failed to do it job because of the wheel spin that was unintended acceleration. 100% the engine surged while clutch catches..this OVERRIDES all the safety mechanisms that should be preventing it from happening in the first place.

this has only happened that one time and that was it. from a dead stop. ( but it does accelerate unintended at 30MPH mark the engine speed increases and the suv goes faster while keeping my foot in the same spot it will surge to about 2,000 rpm this is the definition of unintended acceleration) 2,000 rpm is where i should be at if i want to get to and be at 65mph steady in M4

(of course the title is joke to mustang owners)
