I just got my emissions done at a local garage and was told they replaced the purge valve and charcoal canister to pass emissions. Now the truck smells like gas really bad. I took it back was told the charcoal canister that they put on was defective and they replaced it. The truck still smells like gas. Is this guy screwing me over? I didn't smell like gas before I took it to them. What could have happened? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It's possible they spilled some gas while replacing it. Fuel smell takes a few days to go away. I'd take it back anyway just to be sure nothing is leaking.
