Hello,
So I recently bought a fuel pump for my 2009 Tahoe 5.3. Everything went smooth until it didn't. Once I had everything ready for the tank I installed the tank. connected the battery turned the key to the on position and waiting for the fuel pump to turn on and it did. im looking underneath the truck to hear and see leaks and nothing. I turn over the engine and after a couple of seconds I see fuel coming down from the tank. SO I shut it off took down the tank saw nothing visually wrong with it. Reinstalled the tank, turned key to the on position heard the pump start working and no Leaks. Then I turn the truck on and boom a bunch of fuel starts leaking again. Both lines had the old fuel pump connections stuck to them because of the rust. ( connections being the top 2 lines that are apart of the fuel pump itself). Would I need to add some sort of sealant or just replace a line. and which one could it be since its only leaking when its on?
Thanks
