I like the Expy Stealth on the exterior, but it only comes in Limited trim, which means no seat massage, no higher end leather trim and interior, and no sound deadening that comes in the Platinum. And yes, the interior of all Expy trims looks plasticy and very utilitarian, pedestrian, truck. Lincoln Interior is nice, but I’m not into the exterior at all.

Yep exactly. I love the front of the navy but hate the back. 6ea85bc340d89e5148601d2aa31e8556.jpg

I think the Expy looks a little overweight. Similar to the Sequoia. I don't know what design words I should use to describe how, but the Expy looks to me like an NFL offensive guard, while the Tahoe looks like a linebacker.

Agree 100%. For me it looks like a chunky guy with his belt line way to high. The proportion between the window line and lower body half does not look right to me, even in person.

I like the GM distinct lines better, it’s much more masculine and cool.

If I put my thumb over the front of each I would be very hard pressed to tell one from the other. It does appear that the wheel flares have a slightly different line

2020 is correct based on what I've read. I've also read that ford and chev/gmc will have hybrid powertrains for their trucks in 2020 as well. Thats fine with me. I've been happy with my 6.2L but if gas jumps to $4+ gallon then I'd be very happy to have a hybrid option.
if you can't afford the gas you should not be driving or move closer to work?

Ford is shamelessly copying GMs design.

I saw an Expedition commercial a few weeks ago where one of the lines was "redesigned to take on the Tahoe where it matters most."

I thought that was kind of a dumb way to market it. Ford essentially admitted that their outgoing Expedition was inferior and that they had to play catch-up to make a product that is only comparable to (not better than) a five year old platform, all in one little statement. Also, isn't there an adage in advertising that's something like "never mention your competitor by name, it shows that you're threatened"? Does that still apply? Sorry for going on and on, the commercial just reeked of Ford's insecurity in 1/2 ton SUV segment.

And they (Ford) should be insecure, GM sells an order of magnitude more of these truck based SUVs than Ford does.

I'm surprised it took them this long to do it. Its been working great for GM for years and the design of the expeditions haven't been the greatest. Now they finally made the move to make them look better, and what better way to do that by coping what has worked for GM.
