Whoa. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. What is with the rear wheel well arch going into the rear door? And keeping the HP @ 420 when the Navigator has 450? Hopefully the Yukon looks better, or I’ll hang on to my 2016 Yukon.

The short wheelbase has had the wheel well into the rear door for decades.

View attachment 236369 I don’t care too much for the rear quarter section for a few reasons...

1. I don’t like how they angled the rear passenger glass upward towards the end, thus shrinking the height of the rear cargo area glass and just making the body work look incredibly too big.

2. I don’t like how short the height is of the rear cargo area glass from the side and rear.

3. I most definitely do not like how the top chrome window trim just continues through the painted C Pillar. Looks incredibly cheap.

Is it just me or did Ford copy some of the GM lines for their 2020 model SUV’s and then GM returned the favor?!?! It may grow on me; But only time will tell.

Fingers crossed for the Yukon and Escalade.

I don't know about that area you circled either, but, it is consistent with the Tahoe/Suburban design language of 2 generations ago. They did that too.

It feels like GM hired one guy to redesign all of there vehicles and now they all look the same. Side mirrors all the same, front ends all the same, etc. No more variation.

I like it. I think the front looks very aggressive and I like that they got rid of that lower damper that came so low to the ground. The front of the Z71 looks like a serious offroad truck.

I agree, but there's a little 4Runner in there somehow or something I think that's bothering me. That kind of robot look....It seems to me that it may look pretty sick in person. I'm standing dead in the middle on this one for now.

Almost like BMW, Mercedes, and Audi, they all have the same design language too.

Exactly, I think once we see it in person it'll be different. I saw the 4Runner too, but the 4Runner is tiny and narrow, this thing is huge and wide. I think GM may have actually pulled it off.

Right, but at least with the current and past gen GM vehicles there is variations, tahoe's/yukon's have there own designs, Sierra/Silvorado's have there own design, etc. But now with the new and upcoming GM's everything is merging together, Tahoe's look like silvorado's and vise versa.
