G80 has no problems when it comes to regular street driving? or when paired with a 383 on the road does it?

The 10 bolt G80 sucks. It barley handles stock power. No way would it handle a 383 IMO. But, I've also seen guy's running Turbo LQ4's with the factory G80 and no issues. But, would I trust it? Nope

If you plan on keeping your 10bolt, upgrade to a Trutrac ASAP. However, if you plan to upgrade to a 14SF or 14FF (which I highly recommend anyways) then you would be okay with a G80 for the most part. It has it's flaw's also, but nothing compared to the Govbomb G80 for the 10bolts

But if ones Tahoe didn't come equipped with the G80, and has a limited slip, then the 383 would be alright?

someone wanna explain to me what a G80 is? or an E80? or GMT400's and limited slips and all that stuff and how it all works?

G80 is the limited slip differential that GMT400's (88-98 and 92-00) trucks/suv's came with. And GMT400 is the name for that body style. NBS is GMT800 and NNBS is GMT900
