So i made a thread prob close to a month ago about a bad gas gauge

dealer replaced fuel pump and sending unit and still bad, so with a bit of complaining i got them to replace the cluster

they flashed it and everything seemed to work, until two minutes ago, gauuge ******* pinned to zero

sorry for the language but i'm a little ticked, what else can cause this issue?

Take it back, I am sure the dealer will warranty it. Even though they are new, you could still have a bad sending unit or cluster, or still another problem.

I understand, I can't say I blame you. I would call ahead and talk to the service manager NICELY explain to him the problems you are having and that you are having to drive long distance to get to him. He should be able to set up a time so they can look at it while you wait, and since this has drawn out, maybe put you in a rental if you have to leave it.
Good luck, keep your cool, you will be better off that way. Also realize you can call GM and tell them the problems you are having getting repairs done. I did this with a different brand car, and when I got the dealer, they were 'loveydovey' :hands:

i'll see what i can do wityh talking to a gm dealer and i'm nothing but nice and respectful when it comes to any serious things

and ATL its only the gas gauge. the reason i had them do the cluster was because they had done the sending unit and fuel pump prior to me picking up the vehicle the first time and that was the only gauge bad on the last cluster as well

and its only occaisonally that it drops to e
