2022 suburban LS screen upgrade
I’ve searched but no luck. I have a 2022 suburban LS. Diesel 4x4. I’ve decided to test if the larger screen that’s on every other model can replace the smaller screen that comes in LS now and PPV. The connections are identical and installation was pretty easy. Problem is the new screen displays...

You're not missing much - other than the smaller screen size, there's no disadvantages to the one you have. The larger screen is Google OS and it's laggy and buggy. At the autoshow I had a chance to play with a '23 Tahoe LS and the infotainment screen was super smooth going from function to function. The Google OS in my '22 Yukon XL displays a "loading" progress bar for about 1.5 seconds between different functions. Completely unacceptable in the 2020's. The OS you have on your Tahoe LS screen is from prior to GM switching to the Google system and it's virtually bug free.
