Here's the thread on the failed infotainment screen upgrade.

You're not missing much - other than the smaller screen size, there's no disadvantages to the one you have. The larger screen is Google OS and it's laggy and buggy. At the autoshow I had a chance to play with a '23 Tahoe LS and the infotainment screen was super smooth going from function to function. The Google OS in my '22 Yukon XL displays a "loading" progress bar for about 1.5 seconds between different functions. Completely unacceptable in the 2020's. The OS you have on your Tahoe LS screen is from prior to GM switching to the Google system and it's virtually bug free.

if you were doing such a swap you would likely need to pay for the programming with techline you would also need the interface device such as a mdi2
then before actually programming it you would need to call them and tell them what upgrade you are performing so they can give you the correct calibration number

Yea it’s got the same OS as her Acadia we traded in. Sounds like the radio screen swap is more of a hassle than it’s worth. But I will do the gauge swap I think.
