So I think its time that i regear the yukon. Made a trip to destin and it hated the small hills going thru alabma and was constantly downshifting. Im thinking 4.56 with the 35s. anybody have any suggestions on what brand to get or anything?

I currently have 3.73s with the posi unit

i hope you like buyin lots and lots of gas in fact you mite wanna just ad one of those external fuel tanks

I already buy about 3 tanks a week, but that is about to decrease tremendously when I move. I may buy only 2-3 tanks a month then considering how close i'll be to work

4.46 is correct. and I went with Yukon gear.

^^ to the above comment, Proper gearing only helps fuel mileage , He will use less gas with the lower gears. Unless your running 65+ then the tables turn a bit.

4.56's is what we run on ours with 35X12.50R20's. I run G2 brand with a eaton ratchet locker and royal purple diff fluid. Then I had it dyno tuned. Well I did the 2004 + e fans , free flow cats exhaust, CAI too, ours is DD 23 miles and after tune. A tank a week.

So with plans to go upgrade to a 6.0 next year would you still suggest 4.56 or go with 4.10? I do a lot of highway driving as it is so which would be better for the highway? I know when you run 35s gas mileage goes out the window, but also dont want loose all my top end.
