Toying with the idea of going to 4:10s in my 2wd. I figured it'd be the best bang for my buck.
Just wanted some input, and wondering if the rearends are 8.5 or 8.6. Can't find much on the ol interweb about it, not a real clear answer anyways. So if you've done it personally give me some input on it.
Thanks!

I found a lot of my info after I posted this lol. The ring and pinions will work with both 8.5 and 8.6. The difference is in the carrier bearing. Thanks for that info though man.

I believe I figured out the trucks with disk brakes got the larger of the two carrier bearings, so thats what kit I order for my Yukon. I will be installing Motive 4.30s and a Ratech rebuild kit with solid pinion spacer in the next week (when time off allows). Im doing mine for towing also.
