wheres the best place to find a good spring?

Look for a truck stop with a radio shop,A real CB shop with a radio guy.
I just got my CB peaked and tuned it cost like 40 bux and works great now.

Spend a few bucks extra and buy good quality,K-40,Wilson,Firestick etc.
stay far away from the cheap antenna and components.

BTW, I am no expert,but have been a truck driver for 22 years and have wasted lots of money buying cheap CB's and Components.

ill have too look around here. part my problem may be the cobra 19 ii have.. but as much as i use it its fine for me. would like a better cb but no money to waste on that right now. i may put a wilson on the roof just dont know how id route the wire to keep it hidden inside

The only way to route wires that are hidden is to use a roof mount (drill a hole), running the wires between the roof and headliner, then down a pillar to the dash and to your radio/amp.
