General newbie hello post

[Poppy's Denali]

Most of the forums I'm on usually like an intro post from newbs. I recently bought a 2006 Denali XL. I'm middle aged, with two kids, so the Denali seemed a better choice than the '99 WJ Jeep I have, or my wife's Outlander. Forget about two kid seats in my 92 25th Anniv Z28, lol. Plus, being this was my Father In Law's truck, and he has since passed but before doing so, bought a new '13 Z71 burb the price was right.

I look forward to learning some things about my "New" truck, and helping out when I can.

Thanks guys. This is the only pic I have so far. Just took ownership today. Has grey leather with grey wood grain trim. Once I clean her up and get her detailed I will have more pics. Navi, XM radio, entertainment system, tow package, sunroof, LQ4 6.0L, 3:73's, K&N FIPK kit. Really love the truck aside from the clicking in the steering, but I think it's the shaft that goes through the firewall that I read on here the other day.

Thanks, me too. When clean, she really shows her true "Colors". Little time and cleaning will bring her luster back to what it was from day one.
