Very nice suburban. My wife's 09 Yukon Denali came with 22s. I purchased a set of 18” wheels and tires. Went with the falken wildpeaks. Awesome tires, esp in the snow. I'm on roads too rough for 22s here in Maine. Will be selling the 22s this spring.

I was considering the exact same swap.

Have any pics of the truck with the 18” wheels?

Imo they are perfect for this truck. Ride is much improved and they sit perfect. I like my tires pushing outside the fender just a little bit. If I remember correctly the wheels are a 0 offset and are 18x9.5. so with the lower offset and wider wheels they are out further than the stock size. Tires I went with 265 instead of 275. They have not rubbed once at all either.

Got some snow here today so I used the auto 4 wheel to take it to church. I noticed the transfer case does a bit of whining more noticeable in town around 30 mph. Is this normal for these? I thought I better check the fluid just to be safe and found the case is a bit overfull of the red Dextron VI. Trans fluid level is good. Not sure how it could be over full And I don’t want to jump off a cliff like something is really wrong with it yet. It didn’t look like anyone had removed the plugs in some time. And there is no note about ant TCase service to date.

If the fluid was warm when you pulled the plug it would be normal for some to leak out as it expanded. As for noise, I don't remember.
