First oil change since installing my catch can. So about half an oil change interval, (1280 miles) I ended up with probably about 1.5oz. Really glad I found this forum, with all the knowledge and experience. I'm running a engine oil bypass filtration system. Im planning to go till it reads 0%(7500 miles ?) before changing my oil, but I'll let used oil analysis indicate when it needs changing. Here is what I had in my catch can after 1200 miles of fast hwy driving.

I find that high RPM and repeated heavy loads, such as heavy accelerating, drastically increase the amount of oil in the PCV system.

alright catch can experts....
need a one for my truck - driverside goes to top of manifold, passenger side goes(went) to intake tube.

ive read you should have two separate cans for these systems, why should i not plumb them into a single 3 port can? not sure where to pull vacuum line - could go into intake tube pre-turbo (nearly constant vacuum) or back into the top of the manifold I would just need to use a check valve (vacuum when not in boost)

I've never seen the point of grabbing the passenger side. It's just clean air over there.

@iamdub had a lovely explanation of this the other day.
