Sorry for letting my engineering mind kick in and likely over analyzing the situation.

Is there any guidance folks can give for maximum length of hose between valve cover and catch can? Should a person worry about the hoses being long enough that the suspended vapors slow down and settle in the hose before reaching the catch can? If so, I would think you would want to avoid a saddle point where that settles out liquid can accumulate and cause a blockage over time, causing someone to 1) minimize the length of hose and 2) route the hose so everything either drains back to the valve cover or into the catch can. Am I overthinking this?

Lol. As long as it's in the engine bay and you're not coiling/ kinking/ crushing the hose, you'll be good.
