If I'm not mistaken, the motor mounts are different on the 6.2, which is why it's not as common on the NBS vehicles. The 6.0 is a direct swap and will drop right in using the existing motor mounts, hence the reason it is so popular.

I'm sure the 6.2 can be done, it might take some fab work though.

Justin is about to put a 6.2L in the Silverado, almost went in the Tahoe. It will fit.

No, have to change the motor mounts and a few other things. But it isn't that much more difficult.

Ah thats what I figured...it would be a hell of a sweet NBS Tahoe/Yukon though.

Yeah, but we decided that we wouldn't have the Tahoe for much longer to enjoy it, so in the truck it goes. He debated on putting the 6speed transmission and 6.2L in the TBSS too, that would have been pretty slick.

Whats happening with the Tahoe? Moving on to a different project and getting something new?

And yes, that setup would have been badass in the TBSS.

Probably be getting something new in the near future, not sure yet, as I love the Tahoe and it has less than 45K miles on it.
