Are you still getting a CEL related to the evap system or just the refueling issue?
Still pumping gas at a very slow pace
Pump shuts off like if it is full
Check engine light came back on a month after changing both the canister and the purge solenoid
Displays flashes tighten gas cap every now and then
Gas smell in the cabin after pumping 10 to 15 gallons
No leaks

Yes I've changed the canister under the rear by the spare and the valve under the hood
Still having trouble

canister replaced. been bout 3 weeks and now the wife says that after she pumps gas, the tahoe has a issue like it doesn't want to start for about a couple seconds.

any one else have this issue?

plus engine light came back on!! please help!!!

Without reading your other posts it sounds like the purge solenoid on the intake is stuck open. It cause the gas fumes to build up in the intake when refueling. It's supposed to close to avoid that issue. For now tell her to hold the gas to the floor for a second. I was told it goes into a "clear flood " mode and shuts off the injectors and the truck starts off of the fumes.

I don't have the code, but from reading this topic alot of it is the same problems were having on ours. I did change the canister and the purge solenoid. She put gas this morning at it started up as normal, guess we'll give it some time and see it the light comes on or if it does that start lag again.

I changed the evap solenoid, light came back on and still hard to pump gas. Then I changed the purge valve on top of manifold, still have same symptoms. What do you suggest I try next? Canister? Pressure sensor on top of gas tank? Just take it to the shop?

I'd do the canister too and see. That's what I did on my older suburban and the light never came back.

I've changed out my vapor canister vent valve and my evap solenoid on the intake. Is this a different part?

Yes, this is the third item. The actuall canister that holds the charcoal. it is a little less than a foot long and a foot wide.
