Congrats Tommy.

For reference, I bought the WeatherTech Digital fit full package (3 piece + cargo liner). I've had the WeatherTechs before and have been very happy with them. The 3rd row does cover where people step into the vehicle in order to get into the back row, which is a plus. It also has coverage between the 2nd row buckets (the tongue show in the pic).

Here's a better picture for the non-XL vehicles:

As goodoldcbcjohn notes, the sand color isn't a 100% match on the interior color, but I'm ok with it.

Hosseface,
When I mentioned having Xpel installed on my soon to be (wife's) XL, she balked and said she doesn't like the line it makes, especially across the hood. Thoughts? How does it look?

Just cover the whole hood.

Thats always an option.

The line really isn't that obvious. If you didn't know it was on there (and looking for it) you really wouldn't ever notice it. I love the protection it provides.

I think if she has already mentioned the line (at least in my case) your gonna have to either pass or do the whole hood. I know I would never hear the end of it! lol

Thanks for the pointer to the Husky mats. They do seem like a better fit vs. the weathertechs - especially in driver/passenger area.

I'll have a look at Xpel. Dealer tried to sell me on some spray on protector for $900 - they do the whole vehicle. Seems sketchy

Spray on protector....? Haven't heard of that.

As for the Xpel, from what I have read, it's the shit. I might do the whole hood, price difference is $850 for usual full front coverage, $1,500 for custom full hood.

surprise

Gents,

Well my dealer has provided me with a pretty sweet deal that really closes the gap between the LTZ and some of the other options I was looking at. I have a few detailed questions before I pull the trigger on the LTZ - mainly around accessories:

- Love the look of the 22" wheels - anybody regret getting the 22s"? Heard the ride is a bit stiffer than 20s.. Any other issues with going up to 22" besides cost?
-Does the LTZ come with body side mouldings or do you need to order them? Most pics of the LTZ I see online have the mouldings..
- Are the factory rubber weather mats worth it or better to get after market?
- Is the trailer hit "closeout" included in the LTZ?
- Are the roof cross rails easy to add-on later?
- what make/model of tires come with the 22" rims? will this handle the first winter ok or should I get snows right off the bat?
- why the hell is White Diamond Tricoat (the color my wife loves) a $1000 upgrade:)? what is so special about this paint?
- what do you guys do to protect the hood from stone chips? Is there a deflector option or do you get the clear film?
- we have a cottage and a minor amount of off roading - sometimes through 1ft deep snow. Is the underbody protector a wise thing to get at $300?

Original i order 20" but this week my wife order the 22" i did install them and go 350 miles round trip and the was pretty good drive, but in this area after any snow storm roadways gets nasty, will keep the 20" with snow tires for winter.
