^^^^this.

Should read:

White Diamond Tricoat should be changed to Sparkly beige that for some reason costs $1000 extra. Looks nothing like white.

Spray on protector....? Haven't heard of that.

As for the Xpel, from what I have read, it's the shit. I might do the whole hood, price difference is $850 for usual full front coverage, $1,500 for custom full hood.

lol..one of my buddies got suckered into that "spray on protector" too. On a 15k Honda Civic he financed $1200 for that garbage. Completely down the toilet. Money maker rip-off from dealer. Like any spray on is going to work...lol.

Check out the Youtube video of the Xpel getting the rocks shot at it. My front end still looks like it is sitting in the showroom. Not a single spot.

I recommend it around the bottom all the way around. That has really been nice on mine.

Found the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My2hWaJlwk4. Pretty awesome stuff. Is $1,500 the "standard" pricing for full front including full hood?

Mine was $1260 and included the entire front bumper, both headlights, both mirrors, 24" up hood, front of both front fenders, around door handles, door sills, door lip edges and the entire lower body/rocker area . It was in STL. Flawless job to boot. 6 months later and still looks like new.

Given the white color of your truck, can you see where the wrap stops and goes to uncovered? Can you take a picture of the hood and fenders where it stops?

I've tried for several others that have asked. It doesn't show up in photos.

The lines are only noticeable if you are looking for them. Otherwise you would never see them.

Folks - the dealer was pitching Xzilon. http://www.xzilon.com

Website sucks but the claim to fame for this product is that the aircraft manufacturers use it on engines to prevent pitting. They indicated it was a spray on application vs. a film and $1299 to do the whole car or $899 for the front protection.

Any experiences with this?

Never heard of it personally. It may be great...who knows? I'll have to look into it.
