Yes, but you need to do it right or risk grenading the transmission. A person who doesn't know what they are doing should be able to do it a hour in their driveway. Most competent people say they get it done in 30-45 minutes. If you are nervous about doing it yourself you should go get a transmission shop to do it for you.
