Going with some 26s on 15 Tahoe need advice

So I read you need gears and a brake upgrade do I really have to but if I do any suggestions on what to go with and as far as the tires is 295/30/26 the only tire to go with would like to go with more tire

Yes on the brakes for sure....

Your transmission will be much happier with a lower gears in the axles like 4.10s.
