Those wheels didn't cost $2,995 extra did they? If no, maybe someone swapped inserts???

I didn't want the chrome inserts...The truck is in the process of having a good portion of the chrome blacked out as we "speak". The roof rails, door handles, running boards, and the chrome bezel around the 'GMC" logos will be all that remains. And yes, they cost the same as the wheels with the insert--they're listed as silver on GMC's website.

I totally agree about the improvement made by the 8-speed. While the 6 was perfectly serviceable it's really nothing to write home about.

IMO, GM can't get that transmission into its vehicles fast enough.

Very nice looking Rush! Normally, I'm not much of a fan of the blacked/murdered look, but that really does look great!
