I've been told with these nnbs rigs, though, that headers aren't really necessary because the stocker exhaust manifolds are already pretty good and not very restrictive. Thoughts??

From what I've learned through some research is that the shorty headers won't lend very much to performance gain for the amount of cost incurred. You'll have more beneficial gains with the long headers for the money.

HFCs (High Flow Catalytic converters) in place would most likely help, but I haven't found anyone with them installed to know about the benefits. I have them installed on the BMW and HP gain is right at 17 rwhp along with the cat-back exhaust.

Should I have gotten the un-oiled filter?, did I mess up? How do I clean that MAF?

No its fine..Just go to the parts store and get a can of "MAF Cleaner" made by CRC...

Where did you happen to see that???
The exhaust on the 6.2 is 3.5" and can support more hp than stock but i havent heard about the mani's..

I've read a few times from some folks on FSC so not what you'd consider rock solid sources  The info could definitely be inaccurate.

OK so I got the scanner and scanned code P0455 EVAP-Emissions System Leak ; SO im guessing this is due to the gas cap and not the CAI. Haven't looked it up yet, but Im pretty sure my wife is to blame :mexsmoke:
