Modding 2003 bucket to fit 2002 tahoe Z71 - Need Assistance
I have been following your threads both on youtube and here on tis forum. But it ould be nice if you kind of detail what you did with the bucket from the 2003 tahoe. Because I have jsut purchased the bucket from a " U Pull" auto parts store. and when i tried installing it it wouldnt go in. I noticed that the back piece runs into the metal frame in the car. so i removed that. And then the front left corner is also not fitting into the section either. so i removed that since it didnt really stop the bucket from performing its main duties.
So I get it in..... finally , But the ac controls dont fit, the radio when harnessed into the space is at an akward angle, This mod which you say is so easy , for me hasnt been easy at alll !!!!. And I was really enjoying your info cus it seemed really good for my situation. So please man if u can give me some details as to what you did to get your double din to look and fit properly Again would be greatly appreciated.
If anyone has some awnsers or alternative means to get a double din radio to fit into the 2002 chevy tahoe (Z71) if that makes a difference or not.
