Yeah thats at a pretty legit body shop where I know it would get done perfect to the T im sure you could find some cheaper prices around...
Im personally probably going to just paint mine myself

How many have gotten the hood in already? Wondering quality, metal gauge, etc...

I want to pull the trigger but also don't mind shelling out for OE if the quality is better.

I usually go to this vendor by me called Certifit to end up buying alot of body parts, yeh they are china made but its what most of the bodyshops are using vs. OEM.

If you go to the "in store catalog" link and type in your zip, you can find the closest location to you and what they carry. The location right here by me sells the 01-02 HD hoods for $225.50 all day long and you dont need an account.

Hey no problem, I am thinking that i will probly go with an HD hood too... although I still like the cowl induction hoods.

Hey no problem, I am thinking that i will probly go with an HD hood too... although I still like the cowl induction hoods.

i love the cowl inductions but they only had the stock hoe hoods id like to see them in an hd style... so i just figured stick with hd

still waiting on mine... im hoping he had enough in stock when we all went and bought them at the same time lol.. anyway i prob wont put mine on till after winter anyway.

Oh and FYI, i purchased mine on Oct 4. and ETA is Oct 18-31.. if any of you are in a rush to get them..

:hands: i was just going to post up that hes going to mass ship them from oct 18th-31st...so be patient!!!!! i saved 135 on this thing so ill wait lol
