Use this:

Pop off the center piece under mirror on windshield, the disconnect plug. Plug in new connector and boom your done. Did it to my '22 Tahoe.
Search fro Radar Detector harness for Tahoe "your year".

Do you have a tried-and-true method for removing the plastic housing at the mirror/windshield? I'd like to go this route with my hardwiring, but I'd have a good chance of damaging the plastic housing without some really good instructions.

@VPVETTE , do you have a link for that harness? And how did you remove the plastic center piece? I agree with @KMeloney ...I'm afraid I would break mine removing it.

Buy the mirror harness. It's like $35-50 and takes 10 minutes to install.
