Has anyone leased this vehicle?

Sounds like the other was a lease return? So I sound there was equity...

Generally very true, but it's possible to have equity on a lease when the vehicle's trade-in value is greater than the payoff amount due to a (generally large) cash down payment and/or a rising residual value (as Tahoes tend to have).

See: http://www.edmunds.com/car-leasing/3-ways-to-turn-your-lease-into-cash.html

The bottom line here is that the dealer did not just decide to offer a $220 discount on the monthly payment because the buyer's a swell guy. Doesn't pass the smell test and it's going to confuse a lot of shoppers into thinking they're getting "screwed" on a deal because they've been misled (even if unintentionally). These are expensive trucks and the costs to lease or own are going to be very high! And that's without even considering the fuel :)

My 2015 LT with an MSRP just under 60k (pretty fully loaded), w/ 15k per year, 36 mos, $0 cash down, has a payment of $765 before tax. Hope this helps.

in January I got 2 lease proposals on a 2 different srx trims. one proposal had the rate at 1.51% and the other at 2.21%. when I called them on it, it made about a $15 mo. difference on a $36K cuv. so keep an eye on that.

also figure about $26-30 mo per $1K you borrow or put down as a cap reduction. If you put down $3K its going to Drop your payment almost $90mo.
