Hate the seats in my 2016 Suburban LTZ...

Concur with the original poster. We’ve put 60k mikes on our ‘16 Suburban. Debating whether to keep it. The seats are the #1 factor for selling. They’re ok for a short trip but we do a 600 miles round trip about 18 times a year and everyone in my family finds them uncomfortable.

The 2001-2007 had the most comfortable seats. Damn near a lazy boy recliner in my opinion.

I think the seats in my '17 Yukon Denali are awful! I read an article recently that explained a lot. In general, society has very poor posture. Seats are now being manufactured to fit this poor posture to ensure safety for those people. As a result, seat backs are kind of curved with head rests coming forward to fit a misaligned and curved forward spine and neck. This is safer for those with poor posture. Those of us who have good posture suffer, because we are pushed into an ergonomically incorrect position. It stinks. I have tried every adjustment and can't get comfy. Plus, my lumbar support will not stay inflated.

Nicole, I have found the same thing. I actually prefer to drive my '04 over my '13 for that very reason. I sit upright with my shoulders against the seat and head against the rest. I purchased the previous generation headrests to put into my '13 front seats. It has helped a bit. My lumbar support also seems to need adjusting constantly, but I don't know if that is because I have multiple people driving it.

We are currently looking at a new truck and I am seriously debating getting the LS for the cloth seats. Does anyone have any thoughts on the new cloth seats? I am truly missing my '99 cloth seats!
