have a 99 4x4 5.7 tahoe. i recently noticed that after my truck is running for a while and is hot i can grab the radiator hose going to the motor and squeeze it . its soft as shit and i know it should be pretty firm, my truck also wont stop cutting off and jumping when im at idle. it only does the cut off or jump idle occassionaly, and it just idles rough, you can feel it idle rough, its not throwing any codes what so ever either. any ideas what could be causing these problems>? need advice asap as it is my daily

lmfao good one bro...but one that note truck is getting fixed i found the problem...the intake gasket is fried lol. new intake gasket, exhaust, and bushings tuesday!

Fel-Pro MS98000T is the intake gasket set you want to get. I would suggest getting an extra valve cover gasket (kit only has one in it) while you're at it to keep everything even across both sides. (Not a requirement, but might as well, right?)

If you've got the coin, I'd suggest replacing the fuel spider for the upgraded MPFI one (PK93441235). Another optional thing is to add the VMax Manifold Spacer (SPE-11011). You'll already have the intake apart, no better time than the present.

It fits the 5.7. Perhaps you were looking at the 6 cylinder one.
