Lucky for sure but I think it's more difficult if the hood has new paint. My cowl hood was new so the paint was new and it was obvious until he blended the fenders.

Yeah it helps the paint is similar in age to my truck. If it was a respray it would definitely be noticeable.

sent out some feelers today for an HD hood. Lots to be had if you're willing to pay for it. I'm hoping to find one for a bit less.
