Picking up motor this morning. Crank was worn at back but not side that would mean ballooned torque converter. Guy said wear and tear. Definite damage to crank where bearings run. I just hope it runs when I put it in!

Did you get the pics from the rebuilder? Would be curious to see what the old crank looked like.

I got the motor back. Still in the process of doing the final hook ups. I didn't take any pics but he pointed out where it was damaged and worn. At the tranny end where it sits on the thrust bearing the side away from the tranny had a lip and he said that was wear and tear. The tranny side was smooth so he said the tranny is fine and not over pressuring. I'm hoping to finish the install today and fire it up. I will go back to the shop on monday and grab the crank if he still has it and take some pics. The whole rebuild with the Line Hone and the new crank, taxes in, was 2100 Canadian.

That's a pretty good price for a full rebuild. How far over did he bore it?

30 over with new pistons, rings all bearings, cast plugs, magnaflux heads and new seats and work the valves and a new high volume oil pump. Also replaced the Crank. I put in a new water pump, radiator and Spider Injector. The bad news is that I still don't know what caused the P0300 in the first place. The first 5 km of driving and no codes.
