What's better, 1 3/4 or 1 7/8? And would it be a negligeable difference? Looking to put these on my 03 that's getting a 6.0 soon.

Depends on your mods. I would say if you're going to stay mild with your mods 1 3/4 would be fine

Thx, I'm not gonna go crazy, just a cam and headers. I read you can use a stock LS3 cam for some cheap horsepower. Did I read correctly?

Video Time:

That's a video of a built 400 CI chevy with 1 5/8, 1 3/4, and 1 7/8 headers being run on it to see which size works best. For comparison, the 6.2L only comes out to about 379 Cubic inches.

For our engines, 5.3L - 6.2L, I would look past 1 3/4" headers unless you have a big power adder. Personally, unless I found that the stock manifold primaries are bigger than 1.5", I would probably go with the 1 5/8 to see if I could hold onto a little more of the bottom end torque.

Just after the crossover goes from 2 to 1 there's a flange. I cut the flange off of the old pipe and welded it to the new one. Bolted it up and was all done.
