I will be pulling my motor out of my 96 and will more than likely do a 383 stroker. I hear that installing headers while the motor is still in is very tough, with me having my motor out, would it be possible to install the headers and motor at the same time and it just slip right in?

thats what i did when my 350 went out the door i tossed headers on the stroker motor when she was on the stand. but can i say i want more power!!!!!!
Who said they were hard??
What kind of headers did you use? Whose stroker kit did you use and what cam did you use?

I had heard this from someone who installed them on their 97' 2wd Sierra. But I am hoping for an easier install once my motor is out

headman shorty headers and I got the stroker block from S&J engines out of WA
The only problem is that im pissed because it feels like it has less power from 350. I do not remember what cam they put in ethier.
