Handles it just fine. it will loose its color after awhile. but when that happens just hit them with the DEI high temp silicone black spray paint.
Heck the wrap on my ATv's header see's red hot temps, just to get dunked in cold creek water or mud holes. its been on there for over 4 years.
It was Rode hard and put up wet Every weekend .
The wrap does stretch out over time, so wrap them TIGHT as you possibly can. This will prolong the wraps lifespan.
I mean TIGHT, try and crush the pipe with the wrap.
Use stainless hose clamps like on your radiator hose to hold the wrap. not those garbage stainless zip ties, omg i hate those things.

I have had headers on all my vehicles main difference I have always had full aftermarket exhaust and bigger cam...ect, never tried just headers only on a stock vehicle. Most are pretty loud which I dont want on the tahoe.

Haha my Corsa is the same. 75mph and over she drones real bad. Cruising 65 no drone and a little rumble.
With 75mph speed limits I ususally have my cruise set on 80 or 85. I wouldnt really worry about the drone so much if it was just me but with the wife and kids I dont want to deal with it. My G8 is really loud outside but inside you cant even hear it at cruise but I have almost 70 lbs of dynamat in it.
