Some blower motors have a high wattage resistor in-line with the blower motor. They are a ceramic material and I have found that the lead snaps off at the resistor probably due to vibration. Hitting the area causes the lead to touch again. The resistor could be found at any electronics supply or online at digikey.com. No idea what size you would need. You will likely need to remove the blower in order to verify this is the case and then determine what you need.
