Heat question

Hi,

My 2004 Tahoe (SSV) has a rear fan control speed dial (0,1,2,3,4) but no red or blue heat dial.

When I turn the heat on in the front it is nice and toasty but no hot air ever comes out the vents in the back. Does this mean the vents in the back are for cold air only or do I have a problem somewhere else?

Any help is much appreciated.

If anyone is interested, my Tahoe is ex Police and was not optioned with rear heat. The vents are for AC only.
