Helle everyone, first post here so if it's not the right place sorry. So I have a 2007 yukon Denali, the issue I'm having is the heated seats don't work but randomly. Like sometimes they work just fine, other times they don't. No light no nothing. When they work, they work perfectly though, don't randomly turn off, no issues. And I'm used to older cars, no fancy stuff so I have no idea what to even start checking, any help is appreciated

Welcome to the forum from Iowa.

Is this happening with both front seats or just the drivers or the passenger seat? One common point of failure that I have seen is the harness plug under the seat. Might see if you can get to it and inspect for any loose wires or sometimes you may find a burnt or scorched looking wire.

Hopefully some others will chime in with here thoughts as well.

Does the power option on the seat work if the heat doesn’t?

Everything else continues to work like normal and it's not front seats and I'll take a look at that harness

Any issues with the power mirrors or windows? The door wiring harnesses in these are terrible and fail. The opening and closing motions end up fracturing some of the wires internally. I’ve replaced two sets in two of my ‘09. Both trucks had odd intermittent issues with the window and mirror controls. I paid about $90 shipping for the harness and it only takes about 45 min to replace.
