I have a 1996 Chevy Tahoe with a 5.7L
I was driving hauling a boat when my heater hose that comes from the intake manifold to the heater core blew causing the truck to overheat unexpectedly. After I replaced the hose, I tried starting it and just cranks but doesn't start. No water in the oil, no oil in the radiator. What can be the problem? Any help will be gladly appreciated. Thanks

When it over heated did you turn the truck off or did it turn itself off??

No other parts covered in coolant that i know of.

The truck turned off on it's own. I tried starting it back up and it started so i then turned it off right away.

You probably overheated and broke something if it turned off itself ...
