Hi folks, long time no see.
Going through heater hose/aux connector hell on a 2010 Tahoe LT. Replaced them with Dormans, white one failed in a month. Just replaced it again this time with AC Delco.
Here's my question. With the 'hoe running and warm I can move the connector around on the rear auxiliary heater fitting and make it leak. It seems the pipe (it's not a hose) moves around a little in that QC coupling and unless it sits just right it leaks.
The pipe looks fine, properly flared not corroded. Connectors click on as they should. Just don't like the way they move around in there.
Is this normal? I know the connections are wonky to begin with but I would hope once clicked and connected you wouldn;t be able to make them leak by moving them.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Matt
