Hi All,
I replaced the radiator and all rubber hoses on my 2007 Yukon 5.3 Liter. First I noticed that there was no heat coming from the heater when the engine was at idle. I swapped the heater core inlet/outlet hoses and now it warms up nicely HOWEVER I now notice a gurgling noise coming out of the heater only when cold and at when accelerating off idle.
I have tried to burp the system by parking the truck on a nose high steep incline and running the engine up to 3000 RPM with no success.
Firstly, does anyone have a heater hose schematic or picture you can share so I can ensure I got the correct hose on the correct position?
Secondly, IF I got the hoses correct, does anyone else have a gurgling sound and how did you fix it?
THANKS for your help!!!
Bill
