I had no idea there was a bulletin about it. Im sure this thread will help alot of people who think there truck is burning oil. "CV948C" is old style while the one I mentioned "CV4000C" is the newer style and its the only two pcv valves gm made for this generation tahoe and of course as I said you are aiming for the CV4000C.

My dad has a 01 Yukon that been using a quart about every 2-3000 miles.. I'm definately gonna try this for him! Great stuff to know!

After i think 04, the PCV is not changeable in the valve cover. It has a baffle built into the valve cover, and the nipple is stationary

bringing this up from the dead.... i cant seem to find this pcv valve being sold anywhere.. says its been discontinued.. does anyone know the replacement?

PCV2377 is the old style rattle pcv... new one should have a fixed orifice (non rattle)
