so am i understanding your going to scrap it because you cant find a shift cable? they should be available at most parts stores.
it's a different part number..

the 4L60e/6L80 cable does not "fit"

OK update I went under it and yes the bushing is broken it's hanging loose



Do i push up or down to put it in park??

I believe all the way forward is park, but it could be the opposite one or the other, you can fix it temporary with a zip tie and a washer

got it in park ok..... I MacGyver a repair now it shifts like it should

using a washer and some metal wire (i did not have a zip tie on hand )

the pin lever looks like the one on the 4L60E


2LM70 is a beefed up 4L60E anyways.... as far as i know....


I have a spare washer and extra wire with me just in case...

and if i can't get the parts for it... then take the tahoe to the salvage yard (i'm taking off the cats then scrap them though so i can get $$$$ for them)
