Ok so I am running the Walbro 400LPH in tank pump. I have a 4L80 trans with the Compushift II controller, ( the reason I am telling Ya'll about transmission controller is its on the same ECM-B "20 AMP fuse ". ) the ECU is also on the same fuse!
I was driving and my Tahoe just died a couple of weeks ago so I checked fuzes and found the issue and replaced it. And went on my merry way. Well the dam thing went again so I upped it to a 30 AMP and it blew yes I knew / Know there is an under laying problem but needed to wait till I had the extra funds to fix it.. Well we Atraced it down to much drawing on that dam fuze so we wired the ECU to a empty slot and also put a 20 amp in line on it. Well today I was sitting ideling and in good operating temps and the truck just died so I checked the ECM-B fuse which still has a 30AMP blade fuse in it. It was blown! What could be causing this? The Walbro pulls about 12-18 amps. Any imput? I am not an electoral wizard Please help me here guys
