My vote goes to Hyhoe.. Only bc if I hot chic pulls up to you and looks at you with a face of disgust, you can simply wave and murmur under your breath "hyhoe"

No but in all seriousness, I cant say id do Hyhoe. Although we all get it, I just think its too misconceiving... With that being said, I say do Tahoe Hybrid or Hybrid Tahoe..

Where the heck is option 3? I'd go with nothing back there. (Hey, wait -- I DID go with nothing back there!)

If you HAVE to get cute with this, and it sounds like you must, then why not just get a license plate that says "HYHOE" or "**-BRID" or something like that? Why spell it out on your truck like all the "TOY" or "YO" Toyota guys?

I don't know... Maybe you just HAVE to tell people that your truck runs on gasoline and electric and asbestos and whatnot, although I can't imagine that anyone [else] really, really cares. ...Which leads me to believe that you just want to be cute. ...At which point I feel like I have to try to talk you off of this ledge...

Good luck!

Alright, alright... My Bad. I'd go with "Hyhoe," and some of those stick-on daisies you used to see on VW Bugs. :)

Completely de-badging isn't an option for the simple reason that I want a small chrome element to offset the chrome trim on the esky bumper. Otherwise, imo it doesn't look right.

I think you're misunderstanding the objective ...namely to DIMINISH the visibility of the Hybrid appellation and not to overstate it. First thing I did before the truck even left the dealer is to have them remove the gigantic hybrid stickers from all the windows. Having done so, the last thing I'll do is get a cheesy license plate referring to anything Hybrid. Now I am trying to remove the ugly and partly green Hybrid badges from the rear of my truck, to either replace with the much more subtle Tahoe font, or to remove it all together and simply have HYHOE on the left which would only be meaningful to me and a handful of others.

Short of de-badging completely which I won't do, these are the two most understated ways I could think of to retain a clean and subtle look. Interpreting it as an attempt by me to emphasize the hybrid drive is simply the opposite of what I've been doing since I purchased the truck.
